Attorneys are responsible for reporting their own CLE compliance in the following states/jurisdictions:
- Alaska: Use the form prescribed by the Alaska Bar Association to certify your completion of MCLE and VCLE by February 1st. Each certificate contains the number of CLE credits you have earned for that course.
- Arizona: On or before September 15th, access your online affidavit and enter the CLE credits you’ve earned. Your credit information is contained on your certificates, and the location to enter is San Diego, California.
- Colorado: Submit the CLE hours you have earned to Colorado’s Board of CLE using the online affidavit. The course number is listed on your certificate of completion.
- Connecticut: There is no need to report individual courses. You will certify that you have completed your MCLE for the current reporting period on you next attorney registration form.
- Florida: Florida Bar members report their CLE credits by logging into their Florida Bar account and entering the course number included on their certificate of completion.
- Hawaii: Certify your completion on your next attorney registration statement. Each certificate contains the number of CLE credits you have earned for that course.
- Iowa: Iowa attorneys are required to file their reports electronically by logging into the Office of Professional Regulation website, completing their online transcript, and submitting their annual CLE reports.
- Kentucky: Kentucky attorneys can submit their attendance information by logging into Kentucky Bar Member Portal and will need to enter the course number which is contained on the certificate of completion.
- Minnesota: Minnesota attorneys can report their CLE compliance by logging into their OASIS account.
- Mississippi: Mississippi attorneys' CLE requirement must be completed by July 31 each year and reported to the Commission on the CLE Annual Report Statement by August 15. Be sure to include Mississippi's $1.50 fee per credit hour, which can be paid by check, cash, or money order.
- Missouri: Attorneys must file the Annual Report of Compliance to the Missouri Bar by July 31st. On-demand courses are considered "self-study" and do not have course numbers. Live courses will have a course number associated with them. Each certificate contains the information needed to report your CLE hours.
- Montana: Montana attorneys self-report credits by sending the Montana Commission of CLE Credit Reporting Form, along with a certificate of completion, to cle@montanabar.org
- New Hampshire: New Hampshire attorneys must self-report their attendance to the New Hampshire Supreme Court
- New Jersey: Report your compliance on your Annual Registration & Billing Statement by your deadline. Each certificate contains the number of CLE credits you have earned for that course.
- New York: You will receive your attorney registration form at the end of your CLE cycle. Use this form to report your CLE compliance. Each certificate contains the number of CLE credits you have earned for that course.
- North Dakota: Use the North Dakota State Bar Report of Compliance form to report your CLE compliance to the North Dakota State Bar. Each certificate contains the information needed to report your CLE hours. Certificates of completion are emailed to you immediately upon course completion.
- Oregon: Oregon attorneys have until May 31st to report their CLE hours earned that year.
- Vermont: Submit your Vermont CLE Compliance report by July 1st. Each certificate contains the information needed to report your CLE hours.
- Virginia: Please certify your Virginia CLE compliance by logging into your VSB portal and entering the course number contained on your certificate.
- Washington: Log into your account at mcle.wsba.org and report your hours using the course number on your certificate of completion.
- Wisconsin: Wisconsin attorneys self-report their CLE credits using the online portal at clereporting.wicourts.gov
- Wyoming: Attorneys are responsible for reporting attendance to the Wyoming State Bar. Credits may be submitted through the online submission form or by filling out and mailing in the printable Application for CLE credit.
